This is Halloween!

This Halloween we had A DEVIL, AN ANGEL, AND TWO WEREWOLVES. As you can see my oldest really got into character!! I want to spend every Halloween in California. The kids had so much fun, Halloween is a great holiday to spend with cousins. The candy in California is unreal - they brought home real candy bars (snickers, almond joys, kit kats and not just minis or a sack load of smartees. My three year old was a trooper and went door to door for almost 2 hours. He feel asleep in my arms on the way home and he never does that!!!

Prayer

On our last night in California, me, my boys and Anna and Sophia went on a nature walk. On our way back Jack missed the turn for the house, and had gotten separated from the rest of us. So, with the help of Sophia and Anna , we piled into the car and started looking and calling for him. The sun was setting and I was getting really worried. So, I starting a dialogue with Heavenly Father. After a few, very long minutes, up ahead we saw a light flashing in mid-air and as we approach it a teenage girl trying to flag us down with her cell phone.

I was so overcome at seeing him and thankful - I realize now I should have given the girl a hug too, I grab Jack and didn't let go. Jack said the girl had heard us calling for him and knew we would eventually come back that way.

Now, if you any of you know my son, he is an animal lover, he has such a tender, inquisitive heart for all animals -- big, small, slimy or furry he loves them all. After hugging him forever, I told him I was saying a prayer to Heavenly Father and He had helped me find him. He didn't say much and just got in the car.

When we got back to the house, we walked in the door Jack turned around and said to me "Mom I said 5 prayers hoping you would find me and I could hear the animals and creatures telling me to turn back, turn back."

That was worth every hard day... by a million miles
